Across three birding trips on the Nile in late August 2025, early migrants such as Wood Sandpiper, Great Cormorant, Red-backed Shrike, Garganey Duck, Willow Warbler, and Lesser Whitethroat have already been recorded. With raptors on the move as well, Aswan is once again proving itself a front-row seat to one of nature’s greatest journeys.
